The Zard replacement catalytic converter pipe for the Yamaha Ténéré 700 is manufactured entirely by hand in Italy from high-quality stainless steel (AISI 304). It is designed for combination with the original silencer or the Zard slip-on silencer, thus completing a high-performance, rally-inspired system. The system significantly reduces operating temperatures and improves power delivery; it also offers a weight reduction of 1.6 kg compared to the stock system.

When combined with the Zard Racing slip-on, power increases by 4.4 PS; with the homologated Zard slip-on, the increase is 3.7 PS, and even when used with the stock exhaust, there is a power gain of 2.7 PS.The replacement pipe is compatible with all Zard slip-on mufflers for the Ténéré 700 as well as with the original silencer.

Note: After installing the Zard catalytic converter replacement pipe, the vehicle’s electronics (in the E5-Plus configuration) may detect a fault in the catalytic converter system due to emissions regulations, causing the catalytic converter warning light to illuminate (for informational purposes only).

To prevent this warning light from coming on, an ECU remap is required. Installing the catalytic converter replacement pipe—even in combination with an approved Zard slip-on or the original silencer—will cause the exhaust system to lose its road approval.
